This page describes the support services available from Impact Instrumentation including: Impact® products are designed to offer the highest reliability and lowest possible cost of ownership. This claim is backed by the Impact® warranty: for a period of one year (12 months) from the date or original delivery to the buyer, Impact® products are warranted to be free from functional defects in materials and workmanship and to conform to the description of the product provided in company product literature at the time of purchase. (The same warranty is offered to our international customers.) Your Impact® sales representative can provide additional details on Impact® products' low cost of ownership and a copy of our warranty. Telephone technical support is available during the normal business day. Response hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern time. Call our toll-free number in the USA at 800.969.0750, or 973.882.1212 Loaner device are available at no charge for both warranty and non-warranty devices when repairs are performed by Impact®. Loaner shipping is prepaid, but will be added to non-Warranty repair charges. Loaners are shipped Monday through Friday via the most economical carrier unless a user-specified carrier is requested. Any difference in shipping costs will be assumed by customers seeking warranty service. Loaner devices are provided on a first-come, first-served basis subject to availability. Factory service is available on all Impact® products. To return an Impact® product for service, please follow these steps:
We cannot accept goods C.O.D. Impact® recommends you insure shipments with your carrier. Please clearly indicate the RGA number on the shipping box and on any written enclosures. Non-warranty items, not covered by a pre-existing service contract, will be billed on a time and materials basis. Following the above procedure will help us provide prompt, quality service. |
